![]() Note: Those are for the right side next to the house itself, as far as I can tell, one file covers around 10 tiles squared. My base was in the Isolated House, the files for it were: So I copied the files around it and eventually got it right.Įx. I went by the logic that if average file takes 10kb my fortress would take a ton more due to content within, so I sorted by filesize, found a big one and copied it into another savegame folder, it worked but as it seemed, it was only a part of my base. bin files that contain your creation and that is the hard part because I have no clue how to describe it better than how I did it. You must go to your savegame folder and find the one with the fortress ex:Ĭ:\Users\USERNAME\Zomboid\Sandbox\AwesomeBaseSaveGame How to do it? Here's where things get a little complicated. So is it possible? Yes it is! I managed to copy my entire creation (loot in crates included) into a new save without breaking anything (As far as I know) Well, after seeing your question I got interested, so I ran the game, started a new one and checked if I could copy my safehouse from my favorite save. but in that early-access state i don't want to loose my savegame yet. when the final game arrives, i will of course start over. because i love this game, but at the current state of the game i don't want to start over. but zeds are not reseted and they also don't respawn. it works fine because my character is there, my base is there. then i've put my survival-savegame into the sandbox-save. i've set up a new sandbox game with setting the respawn of zeds to one day.unfortunately i don't know which of the 28,574 map files is for my base or my character. rather than reseting the world i could start a new game and put the map-files into that new savegame.is there a way to reset the zeds but keeping the world and character?. ![]() and i'm getting sick of travelling to Westpoint because i did this now like 30 times. in Westpoint there are like 30% of the zeds remaining. in Muldraugh there are no more zeds left because it's my home town with my base.
